Who we are

Simply Michigan Infotainment began in 2019 with a simple belief: upgrading your vehicle's technology shouldn't cost thousands of dollars. After searching for a reasonably priced way to upgrade our own vehicle from Sync 2 to Sync 3, we decided to build a better option. What began as a small eBay store has steadily grown into a business known for quality hardware, fair pricing, and genuinely helpful service. The market has changed considerably since we started, but our approach hasn't. Eligible Vehicles

The following vehicles currently support this upgrade. The kit assumes your vehicle already has the 8-inch Sync 3 touchscreen. If you have a 2015 F-150 that has not yet been upgraded, you will need to add a Sync 3 conversion kit to your order.

Important Information

• Some disassembly is required. You will need to take apart your original HVAC panel and transfer its controls to the new panel. We'll include the required T8 Torx bit and thermal fabric electrical tape to help protect the ribbon cables.
• We require a full photograph of your current bezel so we can send the correct trim panels for your vehicle. The pieces you receive depend on whether your vehicle has a 4WD selector, trailer brake controller, and trailer backup assist. We'll also include the correct panel for either automatic or manual climate controls.
• FORScan is not required, but it is recommended. The upgrade hardware applies the settings needed for the display to work properly and automatically enables the gray Lincoln theme. Your startup logo may also change from the standard Ford blue oval to a Lincoln variant, such as Navigator or Aviator. These appearance settings can be changed back with FORScan, and instructions will be provided. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.

Kit Contents

Your kit will include the components needed for installation. Exact trim pieces may vary based on your vehicle's model, trim level, and factory options.

Please note: FORScan is optional but recommended for adjusting appearance settings after installation. An OBD2 to USB adapter is not included; we recommend the OBDLink EX.

Sync 3 USB Hub with built-in wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and PD Fast Charging

Brand new for 2026! We now have replacement USB hubs available with both USB-C and USB-A and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built in. As an added bonus, this hub also supports fast charging. In our testing, it produced approximately 30W of PD fast charging, making it 3–4 times faster than the typical Ford USB hub. There's no dongle sticking out of your USB hub for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto access. Simply swap the USB hub and you're done—it's completely plug and play.
