Counterfeit and âparts builtâ Sync 3 APIM modules are increasingly common on marketplaces such as eBay and Amazonâand may also be sold by established-looking websites. These modules can closely resemble authentic Ford hardware, making them difficult to identify without knowing what to inspect.
Regardless of where you purchase your upgrade, verify that the seller provides authentic, properly tested Ford hardware. Choosing an unknown or misrepresented module can lead to reliability, compatibility, and future software update problems.

Free 30-day domestic returns; return shipping for international customers is the buyer's responsibility. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. All tamper-evident seals must remain intact. Returned hardware will be inspected, and fees may be deducted if the unit is damaged. Scratches on new screens will result in a $50 fee. A 5% deduction from the entire order will be withheld to cover non-refundable payment-processing expenses. If the order includes 4" to 8" programming, the $60 fee will be withheld because the emailed programming files are non-returnable.
For international warranty claims, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. After shipment, provide proof of shipment and a valid tracking number. Upon receipt, we will issue a return-shipping credit of up to $30 USD; expenses above $30 remain the customer's responsibility.
